Swiss precision meets Spanish drive

Zurich, Switzerland, April 21, 2026 – MMG, known for its unconventional approach to management consulting, has opened a new office in Spain (MMGMC España S.L.). This expansion strengthens its innovation, sourcing, and delivery practice as well as its ability to serve clients across Europe.

The new office in Barcelona, together with the existing offices in Zurich and Vienna, allows MMG to support clients closer to their operations while maintaining a single, integrated delivery model.

“Our clients work across borders, and they expect the same level of quality and collaboration everywhere. In Spain, we can assist them locally without changing how we work,” says Pascal Bänninger, Managing Partner at MMG, who will lead MMGMC España.

The Spanish team is fully integrated into MMG’s existing organization. Teams across Switzerland, Spain and Austria operate as one - following the same standards, culture and leadership. Depending on project needs, teams can be structured locally or across locations.

Barcelona was selected for its role as one of Europe’s leading innovation and technology hubs, as well as its strong access to international talent. In a fast-moving, technology-driven environment, being close to talent and technological trends matters more than ever.

As part of this expansion, MMG has successfully brought on board Dr. Jorge Yzaguirre, former CEO of the Madrid Stock Exchange (BME) and Professor of Finance at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, as a strategic advisor. With his extensive network and deep expertise in European capital markets, he will play a key role in supporting MMG’s expansion in Spain. “During my time at BME, I came to appreciate MMG for their ideas, tools and mindset and just as importantly, they're genuinely fun to work with,” said Dr. Jorge Yzaguirre.
